Supporting Refugee-led education in Indonesia

Thank you for joining our bi-annual fundraiser supporting six refugee-led initiatives, the stipends for over 100 teachers, and education for 700 refugee students. It's been nearly ten years that refugees have been stuck in Indonesia. It has been a challenging time but, with your help, the community has come together to educate their children and create a community which provides friendship and psycho-social support. We are so proud of everything we have achieved together.

Muzafar travelled to Indonesia for the first time in 7 years this year and saw the difference between those engaged in the education initiaitves and those who were not. The difference in mental health and stability between the two groups was night and day. We are convinced that refugee-led agency building programs are the most efficient way to help refugee communities. We are renewed in our determination to continue to work for every refugee-led education initiative..

This year you will be able to purchase Christmas donation cards in $25, $50, $100 amounts. We can send them directly to your friends and family with a short note, or we can send them to you to put under the Christmas tree yourself.

We have also framed four of Muzafar's images in small frames (Print: 20 x 25 cm, Frame: 28 x 38 cm). Each framed photo costs $70 and every photo has a story. They make perfect Christmas presents, and are reminder of the people we are all working so hard to support.

All money raised will go 100% towards six different refugee-led initiatives. These refugee-led initiatives are entirely refugee managed, and represent over 100 volunteer teachers and education for 700 students. Thank you so much for being part of our journey for so many years.
